EVANGHELIA CĂTRE EVREI

 AFIRMAREA SCOPULUI

Grupul „Evanghelia către evrei” se doreşte o mărturie pentru comunităţi diverse:

• În faţa creştinilor, dorim să fim mărturia care-i va atrage spre un studiu aprofundat al Vechiului Legământ, spre o cunoaştere mai bună a rădăcinilor vechi-testamentare ale credinţei creştine şi spre pocăinţa de păcatului anti-semitismului, care s-a făcut manifestat în cadrul Bisericii creştine în istoria sa.

• În faţa semenilor noştri evrei, cărora le datorăm atât de mult din punct de vedere religios, cultural, istoric şi ştiinţific, dorim să fim mărturia care atestă faptul că Yeşua Noţri este Mesia cel promis de YHWH (baruch-Hu!), fiind Fiul lui David, Fiul lui Avraham şi, chiar mai mult, Fiul lui El-Elyon.

• În faţa necreştinilor, dorim să fim mărturia care afirmă cu blândeţe, dar univoc, faptul că Yeşua/Isus este Fiul lui Dumnezeu, Domnul şi Mântuitorul celor ce cred în El, şi că mântuirea este posibilă numai prin credinţa în Persoana şi lucrarea Sa.

Venim în întâmpinarea dorinţei de a dialoga a cititorilor noştri, oferind un cadru posibil de discuţii. În consecinţă, îndemnăm la un studiu al Persoanei, vieţii şi lucrării lui Yeşua Noţri, Isus Nazariteanul, aşa cum le prezintă unul dintre aceia care L-au cunoscut personal, care a fost martor ocular al vieţii şi lucrării Sale şi, chiar mai mult, i-a fost chaber, prieten apropiat, şi talmid, ucenic. Ne referim la apostolul şi evanghelistul Matei. Postăm, deci, câteva studii făcute pe baza cărţii Evanghelia după Matei.

STATEMENT OF PURPOSE

„The Gospel to the Jews” Group desires to be a witness to different human communities, as it follows:

• To the Christians, we desire to be the witness that will draw them to an in-depth study of the Old Covenant, to a better knowledge of the Old Testament roots of the Christian faith and to the repentance of the sin of anti-Semitism, which manifested itself within Church during its history.

• To our Jewish fellows, to whom we owe so much from the religious, cultural, historical and scientific points of view, we desire to be the witness which testifies that Yeshua Notzri is the Messiah promised by YHWH (baruch-Hu!), being the Son of David, the Son of Abraham and, even more, the Son of El-Elyon.

• To the non-Christians, we desire to be the witness that states gently, but unequivocally, that Yeshua/Jesus is the Son of God, being the Lord and the Saviour of those who believe in Him, and that salvation is possible only by faith in His Person and work.

We offer our readers a framework for discussions: we encourage them to study the Person, the life and work of Yeshua Notzri, Jesus of Nazareth, as it is presented one of those who knew Him personally, an eye-witness of His life and work, a chaber, close friend and talmid, disciple. By saying this, we refer to Matthew, the Apostle and Evangelist. We post, therefore, several studies on The Gospel according to Matthew.
